New Feature: Accurate Synthesis of Two Different Documents into One.

TRIART,INC. (Iizuka City, Fukuoka, Japan; CEO: Kentaro Imazu) has introduced a new feature to its AI-powered visual information comparison software, MIIDEL3. This software is designed to compare and highlight differences between various kinds of visual content such as documents, drawings, and photographs, to prevent oversights in changes. It features MIIDEL's unique keypoint recognition technology*1 and automatic correction function*2 that can adjust and compare differently sized documents as well as distorted pictures taken by a camera or scanners. Since its launch in 2016, MIIDEl has been critically acclaimed in manufacturing industries, such as automotive and construction, and has been adopted by over 400 companies.
With this new version, we have introduced a new automatic correction feature that allows users to select specific parts of a document to align, allowing users to combine and verify complementary documents. This new feature will help users identify inconsistencies or errors in drawings that might have previously gone unnoticed. We will continue to commit to improving MIIDEL to better satisfy user needs and enhance productivity as a system that can be incorporated into workplace reform.

How the New Feature can be used:

With the help of Kyushu University of Technology and associate Professor Mariko Nagao, we were able to successfully detect and highlight all the differences between the printed and original versions of Shakespeare's work. Differences in the printing process were also accurately detected (Fig. 1). Our new automatic correction feature can easily adjust image and text differences that are difficult to spot. By selecting feature points on the document, you can improve the accuracy of the comparison results.

This can be used to compare structural and architectural drawings within the construction industry. Finding out the discrepancies, such as in the positions of columns and walls or misalignments of equipment and piping, early on in the process helps prevent costly repairs during construction (Image 2).
