The new MIIDEL4 supports layout change comparisons.

TRIART,INC. (Iizuka city, Fukuoka, Japan; CEO: Kentaro Imazu) will release the latest version of our image comparison software, MIIDEL4, on October 1st, 2019, which will include a new partial comparison feature.

What is MIIDEL?
MIIDEL is an AI-powered software designed to instantly compare and highlight differences between documents. It can detect subtle changes that are often missed by the naked eye and displays the differences by color making it easy to notice.

What makes MIIDEL special is that, unlike most document comparison software, it recognizes, detects, and similarly evaluates image characteristics to human vision. By comparing documents as an image, it can compare different data formats, such as digital documents or scanned images. To put it simply, it can compare any information visible to the human eye.

Although visual inspection is a common process for ensuring accuracy, maintaining consistent reliability is extremely challenging for humans. It often takes a significant amount of time and effort to do correctly. By using MIIDEL, you can solve this issue, which means better productivity and fewer mistakes. This benefit has been recognized and praised by our users in the manufacturing and construction industries.

MIIDEL４Overview:
Technical drawings used in the construction and manufacturing industries often undergo layout changes. This usually happens when new information or diagrams are added which completely alters the structure of the page, making direct comparisons much more difficult.

To tackle this issue, the newly released MIIDEL4 introduces a partial comparison feature.  This feature can detect specific characteristics of information, organize them into blocks, and match them with their corresponding versions on the other document. Thanks to this enhancement, technical drawings that are prone to layout changes and large-format drawings can still be easily compared.

In response to popular demand, we have also expanded our file format support to include TIFF, JPEG, and PNG, and we have improved cross-format comparison quality. Additionally, we are continuing to improve the accuracy of the partial comparison feature based on feedback from current users. We plan to release this new version on March 27, 2020.
