TRIART,INC. (Iizuka City, Fukuoka, Japan; CEO: Kentaro Imazu) has recently started the [Image Detection Support System] trial. This new system will allow users to take pictures of labels (text and images) with a camera and compare them with their original digital copies.
We have always been committed to developing our proprietary Composite AI*1 to achieve high-precision image comparisons. This technology is used in [MIIDEL*2], a software that instantly identifies subtle changes between old and new documents; and with [Defective Product Analysis and Sensing System*3], which detects defective goods by identifying cracks in thermal images in manufacturing plants.
This pilot version of [Image Detection Support System] was done to address numerous customer requests within the product development and operation department for a more convenient way to inspect product trademarks and templates. This system, designed for precise and practical on-site reviews, has been used in some select factories.
In this trial version, photos taken by a computer-connected camera are compared with their original digital templates. Any changes detected would then be highlighted and saved. Unlike stationary PCs or factory-integrated systems, this system was designed to operate on laptops or tablets to be more portable, convenient, and flexible. By increasing the automation of verification work that is done manually, you can expect significant reductions in time and cost in operations.
Based on this trial, we are anticipating this system to be commonly used in departments that do a lot of inspections such as manufacturing, quality control, and financial departments. We will continue to optimize the Composite AI Engine and further develop the system based on the data we learned from the trial and are looking forward to providing an early version as soon as possible.
